St. Joseph's is the birthplace of the Pony Express. They commemorate it in any way shape and form. They wrote that song about riding the white pony in the 80s so whenever you are on the dancefloor at that bar in the strip mall (you all know the place I'm talkin bout), you will think about the heroism of those young men that delivered mail in mere weeks! Be proud Missouri and don't forget to ride the white pony!
